Veryfi pricing for QuickBooks Online users and bookkeepers
Veryfi does not show one simple price. Third-party listings show a free tier, an expense app near $19.99 per active user a month and API plans starting around $500 a month. Veryfi lists QuickBooks Online connectors, so confirm the plan that includes yours with Veryfi before you buy.

How much does Veryfi cost?
Veryfi's pricing is hard to pin down because the company sells two different things. Review sites list a free tier with a limited number of receipts and invoices a month, an expense management app at about $19.99 per active user monthly, and API plans that start around $500 a month for roughly 5,000 documents, with custom pricing above that. The free tier limit differs between sources.
Treat all of this as a starting point. Veryfi tells buyers on some listings to contact sales, and prices change. Get a written quote for your volume before comparing.
Does Veryfi work with QuickBooks Online?
Veryfi lists connectors for QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Xero, so extracted receipts and invoices can sync to the ledger. What the connector does not decide for you is the coding. Someone, or a rule set you configure, still has to map each receipt to the right account, class and customer in each client's QBO company and tie it to the bank transaction that is already in the feed.
Our Veryfi alternative page covers where a bookkeeper workflow differs from an extraction platform.

What does Veryfi cost for a bookkeeper with many clients?
If you use the expense app at $19.99 per active user a month, one submitter per client is $239.88 a year per client, so 25 clients cost 25 x $239.88 = $5,997 a year. Three submitters per client triples that. An API plan near $500 a month is $6,000 a year and still needs code to post into each client company.
ReceiptQBO Bookkeeper on yearly billing costs $149 x 12 = $1,788 a year for up to 25 companies and 2,500 pooled documents a month, with no per-user fee. For one company, ReceiptQBO Company on yearly billing is $24 x 12 = $288 a year, and Veryfi's free tier or a single app seat can come out cheaper. We say so on purpose.
What do you get for the money with a practice plan?
A practice plan buys time on the review side. ReceiptQBO codes each receipt using the connected client company's own accounts, classes, locations and customers, applies vendor rules per client, and looks for the matching bank or card transaction before posting. A matched receipt attaches to that transaction. An unmatched one creates an Expense or Bill with the image.
Preparers and Reviewers share one queue across companies, and missing-receipt reminders go to the client weekly. See how to match receipts to bank transactions. If you need an API or many non-receipt document types, Veryfi is built for that and ReceiptQBO is not.

Which option should you pick before paying for a year?
Decide first whether you are buying software to build on or a workflow to use. A developer extracting documents for an app should price the API. A bookkeeper who wants receipts coded in QuickBooks Online should price the whole path from photo to posted transaction.
Run one real week of a client's receipts through each tool. For other options read our Dext pricing breakdown and the Expensify pricing guide.
Teams that mainly need to pull fields out of mixed contracts, forms and reports, not receipts, can look at a dedicated document data extraction service instead of forcing receipt software to do it.
